Purpose: To characterize the interference of concomitant thyroid diseases in the localization of HP in pHPT and develop a valuable diagnostic strategy.Subjects and methods: Forty pHPT patients were selected for the presence of coexistent thyroid nodules (TN) or Hashimotos thyroiditis (HT).
